We’ve all heard that if there are two Jews, you’ll have three opinions. But how we get along with each other is a sensitive and critical issue for us all. While Judaism is not one-dimensional, it is clear that not every idea can be defended. For example, all Jewish denominations consider Jews for Jesus to be beyond the pale. In today's Western world, particularly in Canada's much-praised multicultural society, and in the United States, "tolerance" is a stated, fundamental value, and any lack of "tolerance" is unacceptable. This lecture explores insights and strategies for dealing with and getting along with others, both within our own Jewish camp and with people from other Jewish camps.
